Recently, Binod Chaudhary from Nepal had been listed in Forbes magazine as a billionire. According to the record of Forbes it could be clearly analysed that Binod Chaudhary is the most richest person of Nepal. I want to list out some rich people who are among the richest person in Nepal depending upon some facts and rumors.

Upendra Mahato, A russian based business tycoon is often called the most richest person of Nepal. Once a famous Nepali blog had mentioned Upendra Mahato as a most richest person of Nepal but doesen’t want to be in a limelight. He had invested in different business in different countries that includes Europe, Africa, Asia and Nepal. He owns a remarkable valuation of shares on the most profit making company of Nepal, NCell and majority of shares on Sanima Bank. It is heard that he has property on Belarus and Russia worth billions of dollars.

Although Jiwa Lamichane is heard more as a president of Non-Residential Nepalese rather than his businesses, he is also among the richest person in Nepal. He is business partner of Upendra Mahato and had invested combinedly in different business from Russia to Nepal.

Ajaya Sumargi is often heard on the news being close to the powerful politicians and mostly with Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”. He is known as a very clever businessman who knows to utilize different people in his favour and make a huge business profit out of it. It is heard that he left his hometown Hetauda with NRs. 500 lending with his friend and now he owns few helicopters for his personal travel. Ajaya Sumargi owns Hello mobile company, almost a half a dozen of business complexes in middle of different cities, 154 ana land in the heart of Kathmandu which he had purchased from Kantipur Group and many more.

पोर्चुगलका स्ट्राइकल क्रिष्टियानो रोनाल्डोले यो वर्षको फिफा ब्यालोन डे ओर अर्थात फिफा वर्ष खेलाडीको उपाधि जितेका छन् ।

रोनाल्डोले फ्रेन्च स्टार फ्राङ्क रिबेरी र अर्जेन्टिाइन स्टार लियोनल मेस्सीलाई पछि पार्दै यो उपाधि जितेका हुन् । रोनाल्डोले २००८ मा पनि यो उपाधि जितेका थिए । विश्वका १ सय ८४ देशका प्रशिक्षक तथा कप्तान र १ सय ७३ खेल पत्रकारले दिएको भोटका आधारमा विजेता छनोट गरिएको थियो ।

लगातार ४ पटक फिफा वर्ष खेलाडी बनेका मेस्सीलाई पछि पार्दै रोनाल्डोले यो उपाधि जिते । २८ वर्षीय रोनाल्डो पोर्चुगलको राष्ट्रिय टोलीका कप्तान तथा स्पेनी जाइन्ट रियल मड्रिडका स्ट्राइकर हुन् । रोनाल्डोले कुल १ हजार ३ सय ६५ मत अंक पाएका थिए ।

यस्तै मेस्सीले १ हजार २ सय ५ र रिबेरीले १ हजार १ सय २७ मत पाएका थिए । रोनाल्डोले २०१३ मा क्लव तथा देशका लागि ५६ खेलमा ६६ गोल गरेका थिए । स्वीडेन विरुद्ध उनले गरेको उत्कृष्ट ह्याट्रिकको मद्दतले पोर्चुगल यही वर्ष ब्राजिलमा हुने विश्वकप फुटबलमा छनोट भएको थियो ।

‘सर्वप्रथम त म मेरा सहकर्मीलाई धेरै धन्यवाद दिन चाहन्छु,’ उपाधि जितेपछि रोनाल्डोले भने, ‘उनीहरुको साथ र सहयोगले नै मैले यो उपाधि जितेको छु । यो उपाधि जित्नु मेरा लागि त्यती सजिलो थिएन ।’ निकै भावुक मुद्रामा प्रस्तुत भएका रोनाल्डोले आफ्नी श्रीमती र छोरालाई पनि विशेष गरी सम्झिए ।

 एकीकृत नेकपा माओवादीका अध्यक्ष पुष्पकमल दाहाल प्रचण्डले अहिल्यै आफूले पार्टी नेतृत्व नछाड्ने बताउनु भएको छ ।

विराटनगर विमानस्थलमा पत्रकारहरुसँग कुरा गर्दै उहाँले निर्वाचन परिणामको विषयमा पार्टी भित्र गम्भीर छलफल गरेर अघि बढ्ने तर नेतृत्व अहिले हस्तान्तरण नहुने बताउनुभयो ।

अहिले नै आफुले तेतृत्व छाड्नु भनेको पार्टी अप्ठेरोमा पर्नु रहेको बताउँदै प्रचण्डले नेतृत्व छाड्नु भनेको त झन पार्टी डुबाउने काम हुने तर्क गर्नुभयो । नेतृत्वले संविधान निर्माण, संघीयता, जनाअधिकारका विषयमा केन्द्रीत रहने तर नेतृत्व परिवर्तन नगर्ने उहाँले बताउनुभयो ।

पार्टी अप्ठ्यारो अवस्थामा रहेकोले पनि आफूले नेतृत्व हस्तान्तरण गर्ने प्रश्न नआउने बताउँदै उहाँले भन्नुभयो ‘नेतृत्व स्टालिन शैलीको भयो भन्ने कुरा होइन, यो कम्युनिष्ट आन्दोलन भएकोले अझ धेरै काम गर्न बाँकी छ ।’

प्रचण्डले सरकार बनाउने जिम्मेवारी कांग्रेसको भएकोले यस विषयमा उनै बढी गम्भीर हुनुपर्ने बताउनुभयो । यस विषयमा कांग्रेससँग पनि छलफल भइरहेको अध्यक्ष प्रचण्डको भनाई छ ।
